6 sessions, 60 minutes each

Session 1: Unpacking Your Work and Life Experiences

In session 1 you will complete a series of reflective worksheets and exercises that we will process in our session together. From this conversation you will gain insights into strong themes that connect back to your ‘must haves’ in your next career, a better understanding as to why your current job or industry is not satisfying and gain ideas on career areas that could be better suited based on this reflection.

Sessions 2 & 3: Clarifying Focus Through Assessments

After developing a clearer view of your motivations, any self-imposed barriers and a clearer focus on what brings you energy and joy at work, we will transition to a conversation more focused on assessing your personality, interests and skills. Strengths could be covered as well if you are working through challenges around low confidence. After this session, you will see a clear connection between your assessment results and career options, and we will end our work with a narrowed down list of short and long term career ideas that rise to the surface!

Sessions 4 & 5: Career Research

After reviewing sample job descriptions and career information, we will review your work and identify your top 3-5 job areas that best align with your must have list and assessment results. We will clarify any hesitations you have to better frame your career conversations with professionals and we will debrief on the outreach process for those informational interviews-what to ask, what to say and how to follow up!

Session 6: Process Career Research Conversations and Identify your Career Goal!

You would have completed career research conversations prior to this session! We will debrief those conversations and identify your next career move based on our processing of these conversations and your findings. We would then talk about how you could identify skill building opportunities and some next steps to help you make a successful transition.
